Certification in accordance with Customs Union Technical Regulations

Electric: DC, AC, two system (AC and DC), their cars

An electric train is a kind of motorized rolling stock that receives energy from an external contact network by means of current collectors.

Depending on the power supply system in Russia, electric trains of direct current with a voltage of 3 kV and an alternating current of 25 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz are distinguished. Two-system electric trains of direct and alternating current are used in the areas where different power supply systems are connected.

Component (s): The electric train consists of head, motor and trailer cars. The carriages of electric trains consist of a mechanical part, pneumatic and electrical equipment.

The mechanical part is made up of a body and carts. The body is supported through the supports on the frame of the trolleys, and they, in turn, through the system of spring suspension and axle boxes to wheel pairs. Also in the body is provided a passenger compartment. The trolleys are equipped with a lever-brake transmission and pneumatic devices necessary for its activation, as well as a device for suspending traction motors and transferring their torque to wheel pairs.

Electrical equipment consists of traction motors, converters and transformers (on AC electric locomotives), auxiliary machines (motor-compressors, motor-fans, control generators, motor generators, motor pumps and phase converters), electrical equipment.

Pneumatic equipment includes compressors, air tanks, valves, operator’s cranes, pressure switches, end cranes, disconnecting, double-thrust, three-way, pneumatic interlocks, connecting sleeves, manometers and other auxiliary devices.

Recommended schemes for certification of electric trains:
  • single production – scheme 7C.
  • batch production – 1C or 6C scheme.
  • batch production – scheme 4C.

The cost of certification of electric trains consists of the cost of the main work for certification, as well as tests of selected samples of a certain type. And it depends on the certification scheme chosen by the applicant.
